# Export to Excel in Grids

Several Views and Explorer uses a grid structure to present the selected information. In these views,  the **Action** item **Generate Excel Report** is available.

 The generated Excel report will contain the columns and data currently selected on the screen.

Note! All rich text data (from e.g. rich text attributes and table attributes) will be converted to plain text when exported to Excel.
