On the right side of the top bar, you will find the Favourites dropdown. The number next to the caption indicates the current number of objects you have marked as favourites.
The Favourites dropdown contains Document Objects marked as favourites by the user. Marking a Document Object as favourite can be done in the Document Object Form by clicking on the Star icon making it yellow. Clicking on the star again, making it white, will remove the Document Object from the favourite list.
The Favourite list can hold Document Objects of different types and also Document Objects from linked projects. When a Document Object is modified by anyone, the View is automatically updated to display the most current revision of the Document Object.
Click Manage Favourites in the Favourites dropdown to access the Favourite view. By selecting the Notify me on change option for a Document Object, an email will be sent to you as soon as the Document Object in question is updated (attributes are changed) containing a description of the changes and a hyperlink to the Document Object.
You can group Favourites by adding a text common for all items in the Group in the Group text box.
Note! Notify me on change only works if your user has been set up with an email address in the User Manager and if the Smtp Mail option has been set up in the Project Settings.
The content of the Favourites View is personal i.e. only displayed to the logged in user.
