For Document Objects containing File Attributes, existing files can be imported in batch mode.

To upload/import offline documents to e.g. Attachments or File Objects, use the Import Files function.

Prepare the import set by zipping the files into a zip file.

Select Import Files and in the displayed dialog, browse to the zip file and click OK.

For each file in the zip file:

  • A document object will be created

  • The imported file will be associated with the first found File Attribute in the document object

  • The title of the object will be set to the file name (including file extension)

  • If the original files exist in a folder structure, an equivalent chapter structure will be automatically created and the files will be placed in the chapters corresponding to the folders of the original files.
