Binding your SSL certificate to the Aligned Elements web site

Pre-requisite: An SSL-certificate needs to be installed on the server to complete this step. This can be either a certificate that you have acquired for the server..

1. From the Connections column on the left, expand the Sites folder and click on your site (e.g. Elements) to select it.

2. From the Actions pane on the right, click on Bindings.

In the Site Bindings dialog, if there is no existing https binding, choose Add and change Type from HTTP to HTTPS.

Note: If an HTTPS binding already exists, select it and click Edit

Select the SSL Certificate in the Certificate drop down. Enter the DNS as Host name as well.
