Distribute the Add-in using sideloading for Mac

The preferred way of distribution is using the admin center see "Distribute an Add-in using the Office 365 admin center". If this is not possible, use this approach of sideloading.
Before you Start
Make sure that you have received the Aligned Elements Word Add-In Manifest xml file from your Aligned representative.
Also make sure that all Word instances are closed on the machine before you start.
Perform the Deployment
1. Create or open the folder (e.g search for the path using Spotlight Search) in the directory: /users/<username>/library/containers/com.microsoft.word/data/documents/wef
2. Copy the xml-manifest from Aligned Elements Shared Drive to the file location /users/<username>/library/containers/com.microsoft.word/data/documents/wef
Open Ms Word
Select the Aligned Elements Word Add-in in Insert Menu=>My Add-ins=>Dropdown=>Aligned Elements Add-in

Once it has been added it can be accessed for use by clicking on Show Add-in on the far right of the Home menu.
